Our grandfather, Ignatius Iwanicki, began Iwanicki and Son Wholesale Poultry and Eggs in the early 1940s with his son Walter. The Dewey Street operation included a poultry farm, processing plant, and retail shop. In the late 1960s, our dad Walter Iwanicki transformed the business into Chicken Queen, specializing in rotisserie chickens seasoned with our signature blend. Our wholesome rotisserie chicken along with a variety of homemade side dishes quickly became a favorite in the community. In 1990, we expanded and opened our Westover Road location.

For decades, our family has had the privilege of serving multiple generations of customers and forming many cherished friendships. We are deeply grateful for your support of our restaurant, our family, and your love for our rotisserie chicken.

After many wonderful years, we have made the decision to retire and will be closing the store. Our final day of business will be Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025.
